In addition to the container markings, the inflatable liferaft itself must also display permanent identification details, including:
- Manufacturer’s name or trademark.
- Serial number.
- Month and year of manufacture.
- Name of the approving authority.
- Name and location of the servicing station where it was last inspected.
- Maximum number of persons the liferaft is approved to accommodate, displayed above each entrance in large, clearly visible contrasting characters.
