In addition to the container markings, the inflatable liferaft itself must also display permanent identification details, including:

1. Manufacturer’s name or trademark.
2. Serial number.
3. Month and year of manufacture.
4. Name of the approving authority.
5. Name and location of the servicing station where it was last inspected.
6. Maximum number of persons the liferaft is approved to accommodate, displayed above each entrance in large, clearly visible contrasting characters.
